I have used PJ consultants several times over the last few years for retaining walls, pitching, paving, bobcat work and site compaction (highly recommended).

In each case I’ve got several quotes and I’ve found their quote to be competitive and their work impeccable.

I've dealt with Laurie from PJ consultants several times and he and his work crew have always been on site at the agreed upon time and the job completed without cost increases (I’ve been burnt before with other earth work contractors).

Excellent! Highly recommended!

In 2011 my wife and I bought an incomplete house in the hills. We straight away saw that there was some major drainage and retaining issues, but took it on anyway.
Laurie and Peter came out and not only completely addressed the issue but designed and built some tiered levels to maximise the usable land on the property. I had no idea we could even do the things that Laurie did. He used his excavator with surgical precision to construct the rock pitched walls, and left the site clean and ready for lawn. They made feel comfortable through the whole process from consultation through to the completed product.

Since then I've used PJ Consultants on other small development projects, and wouldn't use anyone else. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I was in the process of removing my old work shed and considering replacing the deteriorating limestone retaining wall behind the shed.
At the same time, my neighbour was starting site works for his new home.
PJ Consultants were the nominated contractor.
I spoke with Peter and Laurie to assess what could be done. They concluded it would be best to leave the existing limestone structure and build a new wall in front of it, to address this problem.
Based on first impressions, I felt at ease dealing with the duo, thus engaging them to undertake works.
The result has worked out for the best..
I am extremely pleased with their quality of work, speed, attitude and demeanour. Price wise, they will be hard to beat, apples for apples.
I certainly will use them again for any future works.
I have no qualms in well recommending PJ Consultants to any clients considering site works on their property. They tick all the boxes.

I came across PJ Consultants by chance in November 2013 whilst they were working in the neighbourhood. After speaking to Laurie & Peter, they came out to our hilly sloping block to appraise the Job at hand and give me a quote. They are one of the few Contractors that can do All the aspects of the job.....including Block Clearing; Excavating; Grading & Landscaping; Rock Breaking; Sub Soil Drainage including Soak Wells; Trench Digging; Removal of excess soil; Sand Pad Construction and Compaction with Certification; and finally Construction of magnificent Limestone Walls. These are some of the works they have done for me over the last 10 months on and off. I have found them to be reliable and on time and very competitive. Their work is second to none. Would highly recommend them.

We bought a sloping block in Golden bay. To build on it we needed to clear the building envelope of vegetation, cut and fill part of the hill to level the building envelope, retain one side with a limestone block wall and terrace the hill side to accomadate stepped retaining walls. This seemed like a complecated process when we first got quotes and some contractors didnt have the equipment to carry out the job efficiently in a cost effective manner. A friend refered us to PJ Consultants. Laurie and Peter were happy to meet us on site to discuss the job an several occasions, had all the right equipment and gave us a cheaper quote than anyone else. All the work was carried out on time in a safe efficient manner. The guys did a top quality job and we could not be happier. We will not hessitate to recommend them in the future.

Peter and Laurie did all my site works on a difficult site and it was done to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble and they continue to assist me.

After 12 expensive months trying to resolve a boundary issue and build a retaining wall. A friend pointed us in Laurie's direction and our problems were solved. He and his team were very helpful and did a great job. We were so impressed we got them to do our site works our builder clearly liked what he saw because he asked for Laurie's number. I have already recommended the team to friend who has been having trouble getting a retaining wall built and would not hesitate to do so again.

We contracted PJ Consultants to do our site works on our sloping block in Bedfordale. This decision proved to be spot on when everything was done to perfection. From Shire approvals to the actual work done on the site, they delivered what they promised and were very responsive to our builder's requests.

A very professional company to deal with, Peter and Laurie were very helpful towards our special requirements for the site. The skills and vast knowledge they have in the area was the key to the top quality of work they have delivered.

I will not hesitate to recommend them in the future.

We engaged PJ Consultants to undertake the site works associated with building our new home mid 2015.

Our block (along with our expectations) - presented a few challenges including working around existing trees, dealing with the large amount of rock present on site, manipulating the grade of the site to maximise its usability and working in with the builders requirements.

Peter and Laurie assisted us through the whole process, from documentation and specification, council approval and engineering certification associated with the earthworks, retaining wall including stairs, soaks, septics and leach drains.

The attention to detail and finish of the work was second to none and we are really happy with the end result. We even received a few comments from various site supervisors through our builder, commenting on the high quality finish of the site works that PJ Consultants had completed.

We would definitely recommend Peter & Laurie to anyone looking for reputable site works contractors, and would not hesitate to engage them again ourselves.

I engaged pj consultants to supply the materials I required for some renovation ( fill sand, gravel and normal sand). The materials were of above standard quality and price was less than market rate. I found Laurie very professional, on time and flexible. He was more than happy to accommodate my requirements. I referred Laurie to few of my friends and will do again in future.
