F A Q
Do I need approval before I build a retaining wall?
In most cases anything over 500mm needs local council approval. It is best to contact your local council for their specific rules and regulations. Do I need engineered drawings for my retaining wall Usually anything structural requires engineered drawings, these will also be needed for the local council approval process. However, garden beds and borders generally are generally okay as they are not deemed to be structural. |
