House/ Tank/ Shed Pads
When you're building a house, whether it be on the sandy flats or up in the clay hills, it is usually your biggest investment. For that reason you want it done right, and that's why we don't take short cuts. We have noticed over the years people have been wanting one contractor to do as much as possible, or do parts themselves. For this reason we offer house pad packaging, we combine all necessary services required to get your block ready for the building phase. A detailed breakdown of services and their costs will be included in your obligation free quote. Typical services may include; initial site meeting with the client, building and shire representatives; block clearing and removal of green waste; cut and fill of pad area (may include rock breaking); leach and septic installation to shire requirements, soak wells and drainage, prelay of storm water; retaining walls, access ways and service run ins.
We finish all our house pads as if they were our own, this means the little things that are often left out or missed get done. It might be as simple as leveling areas outside the house pad to make it easier for the other trades, or prelaying storm water so connection to the down pipes is done easily and with minimal digging, that man shed that might go up needs a pad too,we can take care of that whilst the machinery is on site and usually only adding the cost of materials. Are you an owner builder?, we can also supply your brickies and plasters' sand at very competitive prices. We understand that building a house can gobble up a lot of funds not leaving much for gardens and landscaping, so we offer our bobcat service to house pad clients at a discounted rate.
From start to the finish of your sand pad we can take care of everything, even helping with shire applications. We strongly recommend our clients do their own applications as this gives them the chance to consult with local councils and their builders, helping the client to understand what is involved with their job. However, for a minimal additional fee, we can assist you with these applications. Check our forms page to download the appropriate forms for your shire.
Once the area of your house has been dug to the required depth, Structerre will come out do do a base inspection, they will then confirm subsoil drain locations and required sand pad depth. A compaction test is carried out at the completion of the sand pad to ensure the sand pad is certified for commencement of building. Our work is now completed and the site is handed over to your builder.
